Lashing tracks

A very important question is what the breaking load of a lashing track is. First of all, there is no fixed information on this, because the load capacity essentially depends on the fastening distance of the individual lashing points. Furthermore, the screws, the introduction into the base surface and the fittings used are also key factors. The tighter a lashing track is bolted, the more it can withstand and thus ensure secure cargo securing in the truck. A solid base also contributes significantly to the safety and stability of a lashing track.

It is important to know that the drill hole diameter should always be 0.1 mm to a maximum of 0.2 mm larger than the screw diameter. The full strength cannot be achieved with screws that are too short, but screws that are too long should not be used for lashing tracks either, as this can cause unnecessary bulges on the back.

A lashing system can be used in a wide variety of ways, so in addition to securing cargo, it can also be used for flexible furniture installation.

One of the advantages of lashing tracks and lashing track systems is that they are flexible and can be used for different areas. A lashing track can be mounted very easily with screws or rivets. The lashing point can be moved within a few seconds. Lashing tracks are often made of aluminium, which makes them very lightweight.
